Committees
HOA committees play a vital role in supporting the HOA board and enhancing the community by focusing on specific tasks and areas of responsibility. They help the board manage the community more effectively by taking on tasks that would otherwise be overwhelming for a smaller group. Committees also foster community engagement and provide homeowners with opportunities to participate in shaping their community.
Volunteers are essential to our committees. We're always looking for new members from the community to join this rewarding and important work.

Protect & Preserve Interest Group
In 2025 the Seadrift Protect & Preserve interest group was formed to address issues of importance to Seadrift’s future. The group is especially focused on matters related to Sea Level Rise and regulatory developments, and is open to all membership. Please contact Jean Gould (Community Manager) or Dyer Grote (Board Chair) if you are interested in more information about this new and evolving interest group.
Charters
The purpose of an HOA charter is to serve as a guiding document for committees within the association. It defines the committee's purpose, objectives, and the scope of its authority. This helps ensure that all committee members are aligned with the HOA's overall goals and understand their specific roles and responsibilities.
